Thursday, the Greensboro Police Department will host an event to help those in violent relationships.
Bettye Young-Stewart, a mediator and trainer in conflict resolution, will lead the event. Local Domestic Violence programs will also be present. The event is free and will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Claremont Courts Community Center, 2702 Patio Place.
