Our Greensboro lawyer received word of a violent shooting turned to a high speed chase. A man went to the hospital after being shot in the back and local law enforcement was nearby. Officers tried to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle but it sped off.
Our lawyer says then one of the people in the vehicle broadcast the entire chase on the internet. The suspects were seeing throwing evidence out of the vehicle during the chase which included a firearm believed to have been involved in the shooting as well as other narcotics.
Officers deployed stop sticks to knock out two of the tires, but they continued to flee. The driver tried to run on foot but was caught by an officer after a brief foot chase.
These three men now face attempted murder charges, possession of a stolen firearm along with a number of other charges.
