North Carolina Postal Carrier charged with Identity Theft & Federal Fraud Charges

In Criminal by GWAO

USPS sure is known to deliver…apparently, far more than just the mail. A North Carolina Postal worker was indicted on Federal Charges for Social Security Fraud and Identity Theft in May. Well, she was just charged with new Felonies for stealing more than $15,000 as a result of a new Felony Identity Theft Case. All of the victims were on her postal route. Apparently, her tactic was to take credit card applications and apply in the names of those on her route. She is now facing up to 5 years in Prison and a fine up to $250,000.
