A High Point woman was found over the weekend was found dead inside of her home. After the initial investigation it appeared that she died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Instantly, this investigation turned into a murder investigation.
The Murder Investigation resulted in Murder charges this morning. A High Point man, and sadly, her son was charged with Second Degree Murder. He is currently in custody and is awaiting his first appearance in Guilford County Criminal Court.
