Greensboro Attorney

It’s not every day that an 87 year old man is charged with murder. Apparently, it all started from a neighbor dispute as the man and woman lived across the street from each other. According to a Greensboro attorney, officers responded to a 911 call involving a shooting at 7:20 AM.

The man’s Grandson was at the house at the time of the shooting. Coincidentally enough, the man’s last name is Aycoth, though he is of no relation to Jason Aycoth at our Greensboro law firm. By the time police arrived the woman had died. Officers said the man was still at the scene at the time that officers arrived and he was taken into custody without incident per our personal injury attorney.

Police have received a statement from the man, but they have declined to address or advise our Greensboro divorce attorney as to what exactly he said. Aycoth has no prior criminal history and his only involvement with law enforcement was a 2010 matter where he called to report someone breaking and entering a house in his neighborhood.

What’s strange is there are no reports of prior altercations between the two neighbors according to a criminal attorney at our law firm. The woman who sadly, lost her life, had previously worked as an infusion nurse. Police are requesting anyone with information to come forward.
