2 hour Standoff leads to Arrest according to Greensboro Attorney

In Criminal, Personal Injury by Greensboro Attorney

Our Greensboro Attorney has been advised that a woman has been charged after holding another woman hostage and at gunpoint. The situation happened just outside of Guilford County.

The Sheriff’s office believes the situation all started with a domestic dispute, involving a man in the house. All three people lived at the same address according to the investigators.

The woman initially pointed the gun at the man as he left the house according to our criminal lawyer. Then she took the other woman hostage and began to assault her. Our personal injury lawyer was advised that the woman was treated at the scene for her personal injuries.

A hostage negotiator was called to the scene and after two hours the woman came out and was taken into custody without incident. The woman has been charged with First Degree Kidnapping, Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She’s been placed under a $150,000 bond.
