Police were initially called to the scene with reference to a trespassing and burglary in progress. According to our Greensboro Attorney, the man entered the home while the people inside were asleep and they awoke after they heard the door open.
The burglar got away with some items from the home. The Sheriff’s Department took out warrants against the man for breaking and entering. They found the vehicle and attempted to arrest the man when he rammed their police car according to our lawyer.
The man later had a car accident after the chase and was arrested. He was placed under a $75,000 bond.
