Lawyer reports Elderly Woman was Killed and Daughter has been Arrested

In Criminal by Greensboro Attorney

The short version

Our lawyer is reporting some rather sad news coming out of Guilford County this morning. An elderly woman was found dead in Jamestown and her daughter was arrested for first degree murder.

Deputies reported that upon investigation it was clear that the woman was dead as a result of a homicide. The daughter had attempted suicide and was given medical attention as a result.

The daughter is now held with no bond and she could be sentenced to life in prison or the death penalty. This will all be determined at a Rule 24 hearing.
