Our Lawyers in Greensboro NC address recent Basketball Coach’s Conviction

In Criminal by Greensboro Attorney

Our lawyers in Greensboro NC grew up watching ACC basketball. A former Wake Forest men’s basketball coach was convicted in Queens for assault this week.

The charges stem from an incident in 2018. A man shattered the window of the basketball coach when the coach was in New York. The coach got out of his car and punched the man after the incident. Our attorneys in Greensboro NC advise that the man was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his personal injuries.

The coach was found guilty of Misdemeanor Assault. He’s set to come back to court and be sentenced on March 18, 2020. Our lawyers in Greensboro have been advised that this conviction will make it extremely difficult for him to come back to coaching.
