A man who was beaten and burned at a Greensboro hotel last weekend died on today.
Garry Joseph Gupton, a Greensboro city employee, has been charged in the crime, currently charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
It is likely that prosecutors will charge the defendant with murder.
