Rockingham County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man alleged to have tried breaking into a car, and then attempting to rob the owner when confronted.
Hunter Thomas Welch is charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The incident occurred this summer.
