Citizens interested in being on the Greensboro Police Citizens Review board can apply now.
Anyone interested in applying should send an email to City Clerk Betsey Richardson at email@example.com or call at (336) 373-2397.
The committee reviews the Greensboro police department’s investigations of complaints. If the committee disagrees, they can ask the complaint to be re-reviewed. The next step is an appeal to the city manager.
46 complaints were filed in 2013, a lower number than 2012’s 87 complaints and 2011’s 69.
