Greensboro Attorney gives update from Police Chief on Stay at Home Order

In Criminal by Greensboro Attorney

Greensboro Attorney

Our Greensboro attorney continues to receive updates from local law enforcement with reference to the stay-at-home order and the ramifications of violating said order. The Police Chief advises that the goal is compliance and that they don’t want to make arrests if at all possible. The Chief has advised that it’s not just about the individual, but rather the entire community.

The Sheriff has said that it’s best to work from home as much as you can and to focus on your neighbor and not just yourself. It’s better to comply with the policies and procedures and look after one another and that the Sheriff’s Department would prefer not to have to enforce the rules but just make sure that people abide by them.

At Garrett, Walker, Aycoth & Olson our lawyers in Greensboro have taken the time to set up video conferencing and other opportunities for our clients to meet with an attorney remotely. Our law firm is here for you.
