It all started innocently enough, as a woman was attempting to sell an iPhone on Craigslist. A man responded to the ad and they agreed to meet in the parking lot of Bank of America, which one would think would be safe enough. Three men in a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, met the woman in the parking lot. After a brief conversation one of the passengers tried to snatch the cell phone out of her hand. The driver hit the gas and the woman was pulled 20 feet before letting go of the phone. These type of Robbery cases are becoming quite common in Greensboro and it is recommended that any Craiglist transaction happen in the parking lot of the Police Department.
