Randolph County Man Arrested for Breaking and Entering and Kidnapping

Jason Andrew Routh, age 30, was charged by Randolph County Law Enforcement Officials charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny of motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods and communicating threats.

Routh allegedly broke into an Asheboro home, restrained a woman in the home, took electronics, medications and her car.  Routh was caught trying to sell the car the next day.

He is in Randolph County Jail, pending $900,000 bail.
